Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is helpful if you are experiencing mental health challenges including anxiety, depression and stress. All of these can negatively affect how you think and feel. We help you address your thoughts and feelings and work on core issues. Because we wish to see your entire household healthy, we are here to help you in the process of transformation. We provide holistic, quality care and you will get help for your specific needs. If the patient is a child, we will include the parent to provide context that will help to uncover the issue.

Youth Therapy
The social and academic pressure of middle and high school can be intense. It may be hard to figure out where you fit in. Therapy is a wonderful opportunity to discover who you really are. The decision to meet with a therapist is an important one, that comes after much thought and deliberation. So of course you have lots of questions about what to expect, and what the therapy process looks like. We have provided answers to some general questions that you may have.

Q. Where are you located?
A. Our offices are housed in a medical building located at 349 East Northfield Road, Suite LL5 (lower level) in Livingston.
Q. Can I meet with a therapist virtually?
A. Yes, therapists meet with clients virtually via a communications platform such as Zoom.
Q. What are your hours?
A. Our hours of operation are 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday and 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Saturday. We provide day, evening and weekend therapy sessions based on the needs of our clients.
Q. Are you accepting new clients?
A. Yes.
Q. Do you accept my insurance?
A. For general counseling, we accept all major health insurance EXCEPT Medicaid (NJ Family Care).
Q. Do you accept Employee Assistance Program (EAP) coverage?
A. Yes. We are in network with most EAP programs.
Q. What if I do not have insurance? Do you have self-pay options?
A. Yes. You may contact our office at 973-251-2874 to discuss in detail.
Q. Do you provide therapy services for children?
A. Yes, as young as five (5) years old.
Q. What type of services do you provide?
A. We provide individual and family counseling to address various concerns including anxiety, PTSD, trauma, body image, divorce, grief and substance abuse. We invite you to review our Services section for more details.
Q. What can I expect in a therapy session?
A. In the first session you will begin to develop a working relationship with your therapist. This relationship can create a powerful safe space in which you can explore previously unexplored parts of yourself. Once your initial session has been completed, you will begin to work on your therapy goals.
Q. How soon can I start therapy services?
A. Usually, you can schedule a first appointment with a therapist within a week of reaching out to our office. It is dependent upon completing all necessary paperwork and insurance verification if applicable.
Q. What type of payment do you accept?
A. We accept Cash, Check, AMEX, Visa, Discover, Mastercard, ApplePay, and most Flex Spending Account cards.
Q. Do you have a cancelation policy?
A. We understand life happens. However, once the therapist schedules your appointment, that time is reserved for you. If you have to cancel a session, we require 24-hour advance notice. You will be charged a $50.00 fee if your session is not canceled in a timely manner. Please know that we will do our best to work with you in an emergency.
